Keep your brows looking beautiful by following these tips after your brow tint service
Gentle Products Only
It’s best to avoid using harsh cleansers or exfoliating facial cleansers. Products that contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) or other chemical exfoliates will decrease the longevity of your eyebrow tint. When applying gentle facial moisturizers and skin treatments, avoid applying directly on the brow.
Keep Your Brows Dry for 24 Hours
Be sure to avoid swimming for at least 24 hours after your brow tint, as chlorine can lead to fading. Sweating can also impact the longevity of the tint, so try not to let sweat sit on your brows.
Oil-Free Products
Oil-based products can strip your eyebrows of the semi-permanent dye. Using oil-free products around your eye area will extend the life of your eyebrow tint.
Don’t Over-Brush
Avoid rubbing or touching for 24 hours post-tint, and don’t over-brush between your brow tinting appointments. Too much brushing can lift the tint.
Maintain Maximum Boldness
If you follow these aftercare tips, your brow tint should last between two and three weeks. This may vary depending on how quickly your hair grows out. We recommend scheduling a brow tint along with your usual eyebrow wax reservation.
